Step 1
Simplify your job search with JobSeekersCafe's handy browser widget. To quickly save any job posting into your account, even when you’re not on JobSeekersCafe:
Which web browser do you use?
- Download and unzip the attachment into a folder.
- Look for the file ‘README.txt’ and open it in Word or Notepad
- After you add the widget to your Bookmarks Bar, it will look like the image above. Visit all your regular job sites as normal. Click the Coffee Cup icon to save the job in your JobSeekersCafe for easy tracking.
- Next time you are logged into JobSeekersCafe go to the ‘Jobs’ tab, scroll down to find the job and click on it to open the Job Detail page. Make any necessary revisions (not all descriptions will be able to be parsed correctly due to different programming languages), check off your qualifications, add contacts, notes, and more. You’re on your way!

Step 3
No matter where you search for jobs, save the ones you want quickly and easily inside JobSeekersCafe. You can either copy the job description page URL (see example below)
Then inside JobSeekersCafe application, click on the 'Jobs' tab, then 'Add Job', then once inside the Job Details page, paste it into the Job URL and click the green GO button. The system will parse the important job details for your future reference.
Or, if you prefer to just use the widget and not have JobSeekersCafe open while job searching, just click on the JobSeekersCafe widget icon and save the job description URLs in there. The next time you open up your JobSeekersCafe account, the jobs will be there waiting for you.
